"PhD Biochemistry"

Dr. Alireza Roostaee is a biochemist with knowledge and experience in the fields of medical biochemistry, epigenetics, neuro-biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and structural biology. He is holding a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Sherbrooke. His research led to the identification of molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders. His works have been published in the journals of high impact and have been winners of several awards and scholarships. The research of his 2 post-doctorates were centred around the mechanism of differentiation of stem cells through modification of histone proteins. Dr. Roostaee had been the director of research and innovation in the Laboratory M2 Inc. for 4 years, during which he designed new experimental concepts to produce functional nano-particle formulations as small as 1 nm. He has outstanding expertise in the fields of protein expression and purification in different formulations. This includes different methods of protein and polypeptide production using native or re-folding purification protocols.  He is now working as a scientist for research project development, experimental designs, consulting, and supervising experimentations. His experimental expertise supports important projects such as formulation, gene cloning, protein expression and purification, and molecular and cellular biology aspects of the current research projects with the aim of developing anti-cancer drugs able to perform in high efficiencies with minimum or no side effects. Dr. Roostaee is also responsible for preparing and editing the scientific reports, grant proposals as well as R&D applications for the research credit and any other scientific and administrative communications.

Dominique is a analytical chemist having recently obtained her Bachelor degree in Chemistry with a specialization in analytical chemistry (may 2023). She is actually working at WASSC Technologies Inc for one & half year and take advantage of her expertise as a chemist as well as her expertise in biology that she acquired during her College degree in laboratory biotechnology technique in 2019. His multidisciplinary background has allowed her to understand as much biological than chemical aspects (organic and analytical chemistry). Her passion for chromatography such as HPLC-MS and GC has resulted in her currently working in the company's bioanalysis and chemistry platform.

With a strong expertise in the area of bio-conjugation and particularly, in the development and optimization of ADC, vaccines and radio-immuno-conjugates for diagnostic applications. His impressive work has been covered in many highly respected scientific journals. Simon is also the recipient of 15 peer-reviewed awards and scholarships. Inventor of several patent-pending technologies (8) related to vaccines, ADC and drug delivery systems. Illustrating the impact of his work on the scientific community. Simon is also the recipient of life science entrepreneurship grants and certifications. The reach of his projects allowed for multiple collaborations with internationally renowned academic and industrial partners in the field of ADCs and vaccines as a Key Opinion Leader. »
